Elisabeth’s father, a Physician, was, in retrospect, a profound influence on her. His knowledge and skill as a clinician was remarkable, as well as his kindness and the real interest he showed to all his patients.
It was only natural that Elisabeth should study Medicine and she graduated from Melbourne University in 1974.
After several years doing hospital work at Western Hospital, Footscray and Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Dr Frank commenced General Practice.
Soon after her third child was born, Elisabeth joined Eastbound Clinic which was close to where she was living.
Elisabeth enjoys working with all age groups from babies to the elderly. Of particular interest is the management of diabetes, heart disease, women’s health and geriatrics.
