Introducing Our New Diabetes Nurses
Clare Bhujoharry and Melinda Felder!
Clare and Melinda are both qualified Diabetes Educators and share a passion for helping patients self-manage their diabetes effectively.
Melinda consults all day Wednesdays, commencing Wednesday the 15th of July, and Clare consults all day Friday, starting Friday the 17th of July.
To access, please speak to your GP who can refer you to this service.
Expert Advice Matters

- In-person appointments are still available for patients who are well and able to attend the practice.
- Telehealth (Phone and Video) bulk-billed appointments are available to all patients.
Our 2020 Flu Clinic Is Now Open
- The flu clinic will continue to run as a walk-in service between 2-5pm Mon-Fri
- Upon arrival, you will be allocated a specific time slot and will only be able to enter the clinic at your assigned time. You may wait in your car, buy some groceries or take a short walk around the block while you wait. This is to maintain appropriate social distancing and avoid congestion in the waiting area.
- Post-vaccination, patients will be sent home with an after-care information leaflet rather than staying in the waiting room

To make a video consults please download the AMS Connect App on your smart phone:

- Search for ‘Eastbound Medical Clinic’
- Complete a once-off registration by entering your details and agreeing to the T&Cs – click on ‘Register’
To make a video consult, select ‘Make Appointment’ from AMS home screen
- Select ‘Telehealth’
- Select your appointment type from the drop down menu
- Then select ‘Make an appointment with a Particular Doctor’ to choose your preferred doctor
- Select your preferred doctor and time
- Add payment details to confirm appointment
- Please note, due to Medicare restrictions, we cannot provide a Medicare rebate for video consults.

2019 Flu vaccines are now available
The service will run Monday to Friday each week between 2 – 5pm.
This is a drop in service and no appointment is needed.
For young children that require extra care, you can call to make an appointment with our nursing staff.
Heart Health Check Week – 28 April – 4 May 2019
Heart health week is an opportunity to start a conversation about heart health with your practitioner.
Heart disease is Australia’s biggest serial killer, killing 51 Australians every day.
When you know more about your risk of developing heart disease, you can act to decrease your risk.
