BA, Diploma Practice Management, CPMAAPM
Deborah Hiller was born and grew up in Melbourne. After completing a BA at Melbourne University, Deb first worked in personnel for a large Australian mining company, and then in administration for various businesses such as architectural and publishing firms, both in Australia and in the UK.
A chance meeting with a GP in 1997 led to an administrative position in General Practice, and Deb has been working in this field ever since, regularly attending development courses with the RACGP, St John’s Ambulance, the Divisions of General Practice and now SEMPHN. She completed a Diploma in Practice Management in June 2012.
She was thrilled to join Eastbound Clinic in August 2007, and was appointed Practice Manager in December 2010.
Deb enjoys being a member of Eastbound Clinic’s team of friendly and efficient administration staff, and contributing to that personal touch so important to medical practice and community care. She loves seeing the new babies and will often dash out from her office to admire them and to congratulate the family.
Deb and her husband Peter have two grown-up children and live nearby. In her spare time Deb enjoys reading, dancing, going on long scooter rides and chatting on the telephone.
