    Last week, ovens were fired up, mixing bowls came Last week, ovens were fired up, mixing bowls came out, and oven mitts were dusted off for Eastbound’s annual Biggest Morning Tea Bake-Off.Together, our team helped raise important funds for Cancer Council, supporting vital cancer research, prevention programs and support services for people impacted by cancer.And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…Drum roll please!We’re excited  to announce that Dr Owen Latimer took out the title of Greatest Baker with his first-ever entry: a delicious Courgette Cake with Lime Curd (thank you Nigella).A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, taste-tested and joined in the fun. It was a wonderful morning for a very worthy cause.

    Sick Kids’ Appointments now run on Monday, Wednesd Sick Kids’ Appointments now run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 8:30am and 4pm.Sick Kids’ Appointments are a dedicated reduced-rate service offered by select GPs for children who are unwell.Sick Kids' Appointments are for:
•	Colds, flus & bugs
•	Lumps & bumps
•	Fever
•	RashesEligibility: children who already attend the clinic, from newborn up to 16 years of age.
Walk-ins and advanced bookings are not available for Sick Kids' Appointments.📞Please call reception on 9579 3522 on the day to secure an appointment.Children can still be seen throughout the day with a standard appointment as usual.

    Eastbound is now offering the 2026 influenza vaccine.

    Private and government-funded flu vaccines are now available with your doctor. 

    Vaccines cost $20.00 upfront when booking online.

    The National Immunisation Program provides free flu vaccines to those most at risk. These include:
    – children from 6 months to less than 5 years of age
    – adults aged 65 years and over
    – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
    – pregnant women (during any stage of pregnancy)
    – people aged 6 months and over with medical conditions which increase the risk of complications.

    • First, determine whether you're eligible for a government-funded flu vaccine https://www.health.vic.gov.au/immunisation/seasonal-influenza-vaccine.
    • Then make your appointment via our online booking system.
